Our Impact

Recipient of Funds

A shelter in Northern Michigan serving those in homeless situations since 1988.  The goal is to provide a witness of God’s love to our neighbors in need.  They exist to provide shelter and hope!  They now have the four houses/projects below:

  • Nehemiah House

  • Grace House
  • Hope Hall

 

  • Emma, a recent high school graduate needing funds to assist in completing a ministry-training program through YWAM Kona. YWAM is “an international movement of Christians from many denominations dedicated to presenting Jesus personally to this and future generations, to mobilizing as many as possible to help in this task, and to the training and equipping of believers for their part in fulfilling the Great Commission.”

Vision is to advocate for survivors and help restore healthy relationships, habits and mindsets.

Goal is to walk alongside survivors, assisting them as they move toward recovery and provide spiritual, emotional, and some financial support.

Belief  is that every survivor is beautiful, valuable and worthy, created in the image of God and deeply loved by Him.  

The Refuge Homeless Shelter & Restoration Center of Lapeer.

Assists people with housing, resources, food, clothing and other needs to help build on their current situation in hope to move them towards healthy and more independent living.  Many people are struggling to find housing and need this extra support to provide care. https://refugelapeer.org/

Camp ACC, Appalachian Christian Camp is located in Limestone Cove in Unicoi and is along the Cherokee forest.  They have been around for over 40 years providing summer camps to and ministering to youth in the area.  When Hurricane Helene hit in 2024 the camp cancelled its regular events and helped to provide housing for worker rebuild or clean-up the area. They were also able to take in some displaced families that needed housing and food. 

Camp ACC is a beautiful place open air worship center, walking trails along with many activities: ziplines, volleyball, climing walls, ball fields, swimming, gymnasium and providing dormitory living. https://www.campacc.com/

Meeting 8/26/2024, Awarded 4,000. A ministry that aims to be a resource to families in the mobile home community.  By purchasing a mobile home, living among the people and providing a community center where they provide resources, activities for the families.  They have developed a model for planting and guidelines for their program and now have multiple locations in different areas.  https://www.houseofhopeministry.org

Our meeting results for 5/20/2024 went to a a young faith-filled mom and business owner to build up her salon with $4,000 and help complete renovation to open her salon.

Meeting Result: Monday 2/26/2024.  Our recipient of funds went to Onevoiceforhaitichildren.org award of $4,000.  
They are fulfilling emergency needs and developing self-supporting families.  Investing in the people to build a stronger community and sharing the gospel through teaching, their example and action. 
Our 1st recipient of funds went to rescuedtotell.com, Street Ministry for Children in Brazil. They amount awarded was $3500.00 at our 11/27/2023 meeting.

Rescued to tell International Ministry. Ministry Training and Discipleship. Educating our youth in areas where resources are needed and the gospel is shared and being rooted at a foundational level with their donated building which is under construction to teach and educate the students.
